October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM). DVAM provides an opportunity for us to remember victims of domestic violence, raise awareness about what domestic violence is, how to recognize it, and what we can all do to prevent it. The Office of Student Wellness Education and Violence Prevention is proud to partner with Community Action Partnership Domestic Violence Services, Penn Medicine LGH, and the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office to host the Silent Witness Exhibit in the Steinman College Center atrium through the morning of October 28th. This exhibit features 15 life-sized wooden silhouettes representing real people whose lives have been lost to domestic violence, and their stories, as told by surviving family members and loved ones.
