In this talk, Associate Professor of Political Science at Dickinson College, Sarah Niebler, will highlight contemporary scholarship regarding issues of gender and race in campaigns and elections in the United States. She will then discuss a recent project she undertook related to political knowledge and women’s representation within the Pennsylvania Congressional delegation. Finally, she will talk about the 2024 Pennsylvania Collegiate Exit Poll which will gather data from 2024 PA voters as they leave their polling places on November 5; an element of that survey contains questions related to gender and race in the 2024 presidential election.
